Class 1 Curriculum

CLASS 1

• Using Flickr as the source of shared images
• Matching color, perspective, direction and size when combining images
• Duplicating a layer in Photoshop
• Using the Navigator tool
• Using the Pen tool to create a path
• Using the Direct select and the Bezier curve tools.
• Changing the path into a selection
• Using the Select Menu
• Manipulating layers
• Using the Blending Options/ Layer Effex

    I got a lot of out the class and am doing some prep work that I think will position me to better keep up! See you all next week.

    Hey Irina!

    Thanks for the Photoshop class on Monday - I had a lot of fun with that. Say what are the Recommended Open Source alternatives for Photo Shop - Here's what I got for OS, What you got?: Gimp 2.6, Gimpshop 2.2.11, Paint.NET.

    Here is a list of the Gimp functionality - they offer free tutorials:

    Yes what I found out was Gimp. I think I'll download it to check it out and I'll let you know
